Change your food, change your life move from sub-conscious eating to conscious eating with recording a 3 day food & drink diary....

At this time reviewing our diet, learning new ways of being and setting new habits is key to boosting immunity and this is the prime time as many of us are in lockdown. A great way to review your diet is via a food diary for 3 days.  As many of us don’t realise what we do eat since this is done subconsciously in response to stress, boredom and habit, writing down each piece of food and drink that goes into the body makes the conscious mind aware.

This awareness can be a great instigator for change.  After the 3 days, review your food diary, on a piece of paper rule a line down the middle on one side note down your process & refined foods such as flours, pasta’s, chips, lollies, chocolate you are eating.   One the other side note down all the beneficial foods you consume such as vegetables, fruit, legumes such as lentils, beans and grains quinoa, oats, brown rice, note down your protein intake such as eggs, fish, meat.

From here re-evaluate your breakfast, lunch and dinner with swapping out the non-beneficial to the beneficial (see my blog via our online store for more details and downloads).   Review your snacking habit and reduce, swap out these with protein snacks such as roasted chickpeas, toasted pumpkin seeds (recipe on the blog) etc.    Swapping out to healthy protein snacks and eating protein at each meal this reduces cravings by balancing blood sugar levels.

Not to overwhelm you, for the next 3 days create your food diary (download printable on my blog via the website in bio).  Then follow my guides over the next week to turn your diet into an awesome powerhouse that will support your body to health, vitality and greater wellbeing.  Keep the completed diary in a safe place as in 2 months we will take-up this challenge again to see how far you have come.
