Burnt pot? Eco clean it!

You all probably know this trick, I got taught it in the first months of my cheffing career since I did start off as the dishwasher while I was on my block course of three months for my first year of cheffing quals at tech.  I remember this trick today since I had to unfortunately put it to use. 

Burnt Pot Recipe

Baking Soda (Bicarbonate of Soda)

White vinegar

Sprinkle baking soda on to base of pot a thin even scattering, pour white vinegar over to cover and leave for a couple of hours.  Check the pot after this to see if baking soda and vinegar combo has eaten away the burnt bottom.  Warning don't leave the pot for days you might not have a pot bottom left!, basically the soda and vinegar acts like acid.
